Our last week of Tessarakonta has arrived! Let's give it all our attention and cooperation.
Did God intend for us to have the bodies and the lives we
are having when God created us? Is this
what God had in Mind when It created the “human race”?
Judge Thomas Troward (who inspired Ernest Holmes) speaks of
the Divine Ideal being God’s Idea of the Normal Standard of Personality. He says that we were created to be pure Life,
Light, Love, Power, Peace, Beauty and Joy in expression. He predicts that a time will come when all
beings know and embody this Truth and enjoy the Divine Ideal as ‘normal’. He also mentions that our problem is not that
we expect too much of Life, but that we expect too little.
Charles Fillmore speaks this day of a “New Race” - the race
of humans who are expressing the perfection of God. All of us are potential members of this New Race; we become a part of it by following our True Self, one thought at a time.
We have within ourselves all the potentialities of
Being. All the powers of God are
available to us. We are a very important
factor in creation, and it is up to us to become acquainted with our place in
the Divine Work and do our best to carry it forward.
When we attain spiritual harmony in our lives by rightly
relating the inner and outer realms of Being, we qualify as members of this New
Race, and this New Race shall establish the new heaven here on this earth.
We can only become a part of the New Race by listening to
the Spirit of Wisdom within us. We must
realize our spiritual nature before we can reap all of its benefits. To manifest this True Self, here, now, is the
greatest gift we have been given.
