3rd Day, March 7, 2014
Today is the day we take a look at our unconscious definition of "God" and see if we can make it bigger. Because what we secretly believe to be true about "God" is the outer limit of what we can experience in our lives.
Since, metaphysically, the term "God" indicates the MOST we can imagine of Life, it is always a good idea to consciously work on expanding our idea of our "God". If we try to assume our old beliefs and trainings regarding God just aren't operational in our lives anymore because we are no longer consciously relating to that God, then we have only to look at our experience to see that this assumption is wrong.
We are in Tessarakonta with an intention to change a belief, habit or behavior that has sat in our lives for a LOOOOONG time, and our human attempts to change ourselves have failed. This is definitely a clue our "God" belief is not big enough.
Today, let's use Emma Curtis Hopkins definition of "God": "My Good is my God, because It pulls and pushes and moves me forward."
Our Good is our desire of who we want to be on the last day of this season. It is this Good that is pulling us forward, kicking and screaming perhaps, discouraged, feeling at a loss. It is still pulling us forward. Maybe all we can do is show up some days. Maybe we keep trying our old ways of changing ourselves. Maybe some days we have a glimmer or a sense of something new being possible.
We can't get rid of that desire for Good, because that Good is our God. Today, let's willingly allow our Good to pull and push and move us forward, GENTLY, SWEETLY, LOVINGLY.
