Tessarakonta -- Day 2

2nd DAY, March 5, 2014

An affirmation of any good statement of Truth puts us in conscious contact with our True Self.  It quickens and releases the Divinity within us; then the process of ‘redemption’ begins.

Redemption, according to Fillmore, is the process by which the life and substance of our lesser self is brought to conform to the standards of our spiritual self.  Affirmations are one of the most powerful tools we can use to build our conscious and unconscious acceptance of our True Self.

We are believing in the Power of our Word, by speaking affirmations.  Take the belief that you wrote down as your desire, and speak it as an affirmation.  That is,

I AM ______________________________.  Keep it short and to the point. Say this to yourself throughout the day.  Say it a lot.

TIP FOR YOUR FORGIVENESS PRACTICE:  Let yourself change the intensity of this practice as you speak your forgiveness statement 40 times each day.  This morning, I began sleepily saying it to myself. Every 10 statements or so, I would increase the intensity by thinking of something I felt guilty about.  I would say the statements for a bit feeling my guilt, and then back off again to a lighter saying of the statements (thinking about nothing, I suppose).  Remember it is Divine Love/God Good helping us, so we don’t have to ‘do’ all the work.  We are simply setting our intentions, and ALLOWING it to be done onto us.
