Tessarakonta -- Day 21

21st Day, Friday, March 28, 2014

Grace means good will, favor, disposition to show mercy. I like the definition of “unwarranted favor”.

The grace of God extends to all people, as we are all equal in favor with God.  No one is exempt from receiving grace.  There is nothing we could possibly do to stop grace from coming to us.

Charles Fillmore writes that the grace of God is greater than the laws of humanity. As human beings, we may make certain laws and restrictions for ourselves and "his servants ye are whom ye obey." If we are servants of human law, our obedience is unto death; if we are servants of The Greatest Good of All, or our True Self, our obedience is unto Life. To become recipients of that which the Heavenly Father would bestow, we need to allow for the possibility of grace; that even beyond what we ask, seek, earn, or deserve under the law, God is more than willing to give.

As the story of the prodigal son shows us, our Heavenly Father will always meet us more than half way, once we turn toward our Heavenly Home. By turning to the "grace of God," we receive the measure of God's bounty, which exceeds any of our imaginings.

I want to know a Love from the Divine that loves me no matter how much I mess up my life.  Only a Divine Love can be that unconditional.  I want to be forgiven and forgiven and forgiven.  I want Grace.

AFFIRMATION: "Through the grace of God, I am blessed."
