Life, as we commonly think of it, is just a phase of Being. It is not identical with Life in its
essence. We look upon moving
things and call them alive, but they are only evidences of Life. However, it is possible for us to know the
Life that is back of the living. When we
feel the thrill of the Life Essence within us, we touch the Divine Energy that
is Changeless.
It’s just the expression of Life here on this planet which
manifests as animation and as 'doing'.
The consciousness of Eternal Life places one in the stream of Life that is always present.
We need a spiritual quickening of the
Life Principle. Our origin is in this Life Principle. Life is the gift of God: “Stir up the gift of God which is in thee.”
To think intently about Life is to quicken it into
action. To talk about Vitality will make the life currents flow swiftly throughout the whole
being. This is what a powerful
affirmation does.
Today, create an affirmation for yourself which you feel has
that quickening power within it. It
could be: “I stir up the gift of God
which is within me!” or "I am the Vitality of Life!"
