Tessarakonta -- Day 14

14th Day, Thursday, March 20, 2014

Zeal is the mighty force that incites the winds, the tides, the storms; it urges the planet on its course, and spurs the ant to greater exertion.  It is the urge behind all things.  Zeal is the affirmative impulse of existence; its command is “Go forward!”

In us, zeal is felt as intensity, ardor, and enthusiasm.  It is the inward fire of the soul that urges us onward, regardless of the True Self which might be telling us caution and conservatism.

When the zeal faculty is so active within us that we don’t use Divine Wisdom to temper our expression, we may find that we have become so active that our vitality has become drained.

It is necessary for us to make sure we turn a portion of this Divine Zeal to self-care.  Do not put all your enthusiasm into doing, creating, and helping others.  We must first make sure we are taking care of our own soul, our emotions and physical body.

Do not let your zeal run away without any Divine Judgment.  When zeal and judgment work together, great things can be accomplished.
