Preparation Time

"Tessarakonta" is a Greek word meaning "forty" and it can symbolically mean "a full-testing period" or the full time (of a crisis, etc.) needed to successfully pass through to know God's Good for us.  I am using this word, as was originally done, to name that period of time traditionally known as "lent", so that we can use this time for a spiritual practice designed to support ourselves in releasing that which we no longer wish to carry and accepting something new into our lives.

In other words, I am using this time as a period within which I can 'give up' a lifestyle habit which no longer serves me and I can 'practice' a new habit which WILL serve me.

If you are interested, read the Sacred Covenant below:

“Tessarakonta” – Keeping a True Lent Practice

A Journey of 40 days & 40 nights through the Wilderness
Wednesday, March 5th through Sunday, April 20th

“Lazarus, come forth.”                                 John 11: 43

PURPOSE:     Revelation
(An Unveiling of the Good which was hidden)

VISION:         Discovering my True Self

My intentions are:
1.         To release one personal behavior or false belief which no longer serves me in accepting my Greatest             Good and to practice a new behavior from my True Self.
2.         To experience the Support of Grace/God helping me in this change.
3.         To discover my True Self which has been hidden by this behavior/belief.
4.         To participate in spiritual practices which will deepen my faith.

Each day during my 40-day Lenten practice, I will:
1. Abstain from the old behavior/belief/habit.
2. Treat each day for Divine Support for myself (suggested treatment: “This great and glorious Life surrounds me.  This great and glorious Life supports me.  I accept NOW the full support of this Life in transforming my behaviors & beliefs so that I may accept all the Good this Life has for me.  I am abundantly grateful.  And so it is.”)
3. Call on Divine Love to show me a new way to live if I feel the pull of the old behavior/belief/habit.
4. Practice self-forgiveness by saying 40 times each day:  “I forgive myself completely for all that I have done and all that I have failed to do.  I love myself as God loves me, unconditionally.”

If you are interested in my support beyond the blog during this 2014 Tessarakonta season, you can contact me directly, and I will provide you with an enrollment form.  If you complete the form and make a $40.00 payment to the order of “Center for Spiritual Living Princeton”, I will each day during the Lenten period:
1. Include you in a group treatment for you to release the old behavior and accept the new.
2. Invite you to a daily live teleconference call (which is also recorded) in which you will be given a spiritual practice and treatment.
3. Respond via email to your questions or concerns & do individual treatment work for you as required.
4. Send you periodic emails and write on her Tessarakonta blog to deepen your understanding of Truth.

Our next 40 days begins THIS Wednesday, March 5th.  What will your life look life on April 20th?
